My art is intuitive, concerned with the magic of transformation, which reflects my curiosity of the "what if"? It involves a sense of freedom and unpredictability. I like to keep my art open to interpretation allowing the viewer to participate imaginatively in the creative process as well as challenge the spectator to be a part of the incomplete cycle, thus the viewer completes the work.
As an abstract artist, printmaker, teacher, lecturer, as well as a past gallery owner, I recently opened a contemporary gallery, OSBORN LIZIO CONTEMPORARY GALLERY - BAYFRONT FINE ARTS LLC with my partner Jo-Ann Lizio at 431 Bayfront Place in Naples FL. We will feature a number of artists and both Jo-Ann and I will be conducting classes and putting in place a mentoring program for artists.
I am able to move between the figurative to the abstract with ease. Currently I am accepting commissions. ? My delicate pencil drawing of homes will grace any home and will make a wonderful gift for Real Estate agents to give to their clients. My contemporary pieces using memorabilia that is hidden away in drawers is combined into a powerful and personal piece of art. (Be sure to check "COMMISSIONS"). These paintings have been well received. The work must first be a painting and then on closer examination the memorabilia comes to light becoming the focus of any room and a conversation piece!
As gallery owners, we are dedicated to working with home owners, interior designers, and professionals, offering a variety of consulting services - from aiding in the selection of art, to placing and hanging the pieces in ones home or office.
