The Final Step

The final process is the patina which is the coloration of the bronze. Chemicals are applied to the heated bronze to speed up the natural oxidations. Chemicals are put together in "Patina Recipes" which when applied correctly can create brilliant colors on bronze.

Bronze casting is a long and arduous process. The casting process alone takes 2-4 weeks depending on the size and complexity. But the finished product is well worth the wait.
